14.05.17 | A Neutral Sunday

by

Let’s be honest, Sundays are for sleep-ins, hot coffee and lazing in your PJs…

If by some twist of fate you decide to leave the house, brunching with friends and family is no doubt the next best thing. I’ve been trying to steer away from wearing too much black, hence my neutral ensemble for this afternoon’s outing.

Pleats are no doubt a hot trend this A/W, and I love mixing them with more basic, androgynous pieces to create a cool and casual contrast between polished and I-just-threw-anything-on-but-somehow-look-fabulous. Without a doubt, each year I invest in a cosy, preferably turtle-necked grey sweater to layer up with basics and trend pieces, for me, it’s kind of a stylish no-brainer. Adding luxe accessories adds personality and a pop of colour (or in this case Black) to a look, easily taking it from basic to chic in seconds.

Happy Sunday, friends x
