Honey & Beau, a well-established Aussie brand based in NSW has been on my radar since my teen years. Marketing their bold, glamorous and on-trend designs to girls of many ages, I was thrilled to collaborate with them and style a piece from their ‘Dusk til’ Dawn’ Summer 2016 collection.

I’m all about a throw-on-and-go aesthetic when it comes to dressing, (anything that doesn’t require ironing is ideal). So this Lola Denim Shirtdress in washed black (of course) was an easy choice.

When styling the dress I went for comfort and practicality, as the Melbourne spring weather has been particularly unpredictable this year. Hopping on the ‘Blush’ bandwagon that is literally everywhere this season, I couldn’t go past a silky trans-seasonal bomber in this dusty pink colour as it’s just neutral enough to wear with everything, but still a little edgy and current. A little Calvin Klein never hurt anyone, so with my favourite pony hair crossbody bag and all-white Adidas Stan Smiths, I was ready to hit the street.
